The book I read is called Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis. Our main character in this book is Bud, who lives during the time period known as the Great Depression. His mother died when he was only 6 and he is on the run to find his father.
I liked this book and would rate it a 9 out of 10. It had some parts that made me laugh! This book also had a different ending than anyone expected. I love historical fiction books. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes funny & historical fiction books.
